I personally took a gap year and it was one of the best choices I’ve made. When I graduated high school, I had no intention of studying overseas, and so I hadn’t properly prepared for SATS or any other part of the American application process.

If you’re not feeling properly prepared, this can be a great time to build any part of your application. From sitting SAT’s and building stronger leadership/extracurricular activities to even just taking some time for yourself and discovering what you want to pursue in university.
