Jennifer is a New Zealander studying Economics and Business at New York University. After high school, she took a year off and began volunteering with UNICEF. Eventually, she gained a position as a UNICEF New Zealand Youth Ambassador.

In this role, she has represented UNICEF and New Zealand youth on a national stage, attending or speaking at events such as youth conferences and Prince Harry's NZ reception.

In this role, Jennifer also worked with a team to create documents such as the official shadow report to the United Nations, a document representing the nation's young voices, and containing the perspectives of 1200 interviewed youth. Her contribution was recognized by UNICEF with a nomination for New Zealander of the Year.

Jennifer also founded UNICEF Youth For Change, a national network of youth clubs which now has over 500 members. She currently directs this network's growth, events and engagement around New Zealand.
