Starting US uni a year early

I was just wondering whether it is possible to finish NZ year 12 and do SAT testing and AP that year, then apply for US universities and miss year 13 and go to uni a year early? Is this something that can be done?

Yes - it is entirely possible. You just need to be an outstanding applicant to reach top universities.
