I am a Robertson Scholar studying economics in the Duke University Class of 2019. I grew up in Hawke's Bay, New Zealand and attended Lindisfarne College for five years as a weekly boarder.
At school I represented the college in football, tennis and squash and a as a prefect and graduated as Dux. Following high school I studied at the University of Canterbury for one semester.
During that semester I received offers from Harvard, Stanford and Duke Universities as well as the Robertson Scholarship, a full-ride merit scholarship offered to two New Zealanders each year. I am loving my time at Duke and represent the university in rugby, in a number of clubs and as a member of a fraternity.
