Does Studylink NZ allow you to take out a loan for a US College? and does it have a cap on how much you can use on your loan e.g College costs 40000 pre scholarships, would I be able to put that much on my loan?
Unfortunately StudyLink doesn’t let you take out loans for overseas universities in general (as far as I am aware). There are exceptions if you are enrolled full time at a NZ university and are just going overseas as part of that study, or for an exchange.
However, many US colleges offer generous financial aid, so it is worth checking if you are eligible for that instead.
