Hello I was doing some research about the male to female ratio, as well as the accceptance rate for male vs females.
It’s evident that in some schools the gap is quite large, would you say (as a male) I would have an advantage at certain schools that have higher acceptance rates for males?

Basically, your gender is one of the least relevant things to consider when applying to university. Obviously, there are certain subjects and degrees in which the gender ratio is more skewed. However, the discrepancy you describe in your question above is not due to conscious selection bias. Your strength as candidate relies on other factors such as your grades and extra curricular’s.
