How are VCE grades converted into a high school GPA for application to US colleges?
While I do believe that US colleges take your VCE marks/ATAR into account, it is less recognised than other international curriculums such as IB and there isn’t really an established system for converting ATAR into GPA (though you should contact your target University to confirm). Therefore, people who complete VCE and are wanting to apply overseas will usually take the SATs, either once or multiple times throughout their final year of high school.
