When does financial aid disburse? So I want to understand when the money shows up in my account or does it go straight to the school?
Hello! Policies on this vary from school to school but in general, aid is disbursed to the school directly prior to the beginning of the semester. Any leftover is reimbursed to the student’s personal account usually after the end of the add/drop period (about 2-3 weeks into the semester).
