I am thinking about potentially joining my schools campus newspaper, and I am curious about how legit it is (do people actually read it? What do people write about?). Is it worthwhile?
Absolutely! The Crimson (Harvard’s student newspaper) is generally well-regarded and has a pretty high circulation and operating budget. The former presidents/reporters/staff of the Harvard Crimson have gone on to have very illustrious careers - some include James Fallows (The Atlantic), David Sanger (NYTimes), and Nicholas Kristoff (NYTimes).
