Are there famous people roaming the hallways at Harvard?
There are famous people roaming around Harvard all the time! John Legend stops by campus ever year. I got a glimpse of Lady Gaga at one point, and Mark Zuckerberg was at my House graduation 
Notable figures are often invited to be speakers at the IOP (Institute of Politics) - former governors, congressmen/congresswomen, heads of state, etc. As a student you are inevitably going to collect a few rockstar selfies!

I saw Ban Ki Moon, Natalie Portman (Black Swan), Eva Longoria (Desperate Housewives), Japanese prime minister, former Australia prime minister, Kanye West/Kim Kardashian came to the Harvard Design School of the top of my head… there is an endless stream of global rock stars coming through the institution. The IOP often brings in heavy weights as well a the Kennedy School in the political arena. Lots of famous professors as well!
