I want financial aid for my studies. But when I tried to complete my css profile, various universities were bit listed, and many universities which were listed do not accept international applications. I am confused about how to apply for financial assistance?

The best bet is always to check each individual school’s financial aid/admissions page. They will likely have a separate page or section for international students. If those schools offer aid to international students, they will outline the financial aid application details and deadlines, which may include things outside of the CSS PROFILE. If they don’t offer financial aid to international students, they often will have information on resources and methods for paying for that school’s program.
Each school is different, so make sure you check each page individually—similar schools could have completely different financial aid application instructions.
