Are they the same school, or how does their relationship work?
NYU has many campuses worldwide including Shanghai, Abu Dhabi, and New York.
Usually, NYU refers to the New York branch, but it can also refer to the whole network of NYU schools.
They are different schools as in students are based in one place but they share a strong relationship and are basically governed by the same body. NYU (all campuses) have opportunities to visit other campuses etc throughout their college years which really adds to the global experience.
