Jillin achieved the top GPA in her cohort at Westlake Girls and was admitted to the University of Auckland under discretionary entrance. She is currently studying a Bachelor of Commerce and Laws conjoint degree with a scholarship, and has maintained a strong A+ GPA with three top in course awards. Jillin is a leader at the Business School Careers Centre, and Treasurer of the Public Policy Club. Following successes in national business case competitions, she will be representing her university at an international case competition in Seattle in 2017. She also has a passion for performing arts, which involves a Distinction in ATCL Piano and numerous placings at ballet competitions. Jillin aspires to have a career in commercial law, and has already been offered scholarships and clerkships by Russell McVeagh and Bell Gully, two of NZ’s premier law firms. She enjoys giving back to the community through teaching music and dance, and volunteering for clubs and charities.
