Is it better to pick a course with compulsory papers like Law or commerce or to just take arts and pick what I like?
The great thing about Arts at Victoria is the flexibility it affords you to choose from a huge variety of subjects. For example it’s possible to take a BA in Economics, Mathematics, Psychology or Geography which are subjects that you might think would normally fit into a Bachelor of Commerce or Bachelor of Science. It really depends what you are interested in, but if you don’t know Arts can be a great way to try a few different things before deciding. Don’t forget that if you can’t decide, begining with a conjoint Arts and Law degree, or Arts and Commerce - can be a good way to try both - even if you later decide just to focus on one.
