Which Grade 12 School Board is better for IIT JEE and NEET preparation?
Both CBSE and ICSE boards help you in preparing for IIT JEE and NEET exams. ICSE introduces topics at an earlier year - CBSE on the other hand covers the subjects you require for the exam in depth during Grade 11 and 12. This is because with ICSE you have a wider variety of subjects that you learn and on the other hand CBSE jumps into the subjects that you chose to study (lesser in number).
In India, the most preferred board of education is CBSE. CBSE prepare their students for Secondary and Senior Secondary Levels. CBSE conducts two exams: All India Secondary School Examination, AISSE (Class X) and All India Senior School Certificate Examination, AISSCE (Class XII).
CBSE also conducts entrance exams like: IIT JEE, NEET, etc.
If you opt for CBSE board, which most of the students prefer for, then you have an advantage while appearing in entrance exams. All the entrance exams conducted in India are based on CBSE Syllabus.
